The Cumberland County
American Red Cross Needs You!
American Red Cross Volunteers are making a difference right now. These wonderful individuals donate their time to be on the front lines providing Red Cross services to those in need.
The Red Cross needs people with all kinds of different backgrounds, talents and skill levels. We will provide the training at no cost. With your life skills and Red Cross training, you will have the ability to assist your community in times of need.
The Cumberland County American Red Cross will match your interests to the volunteer needs so that your experience will be a rewarding one. Once you decide you want to volunteer, you can take the online volunteer orientation, which will provide an overview of the volunteer opportunities available to you. Please take a moment to look over the current opportunities for each specific service.

Angela Crabill started volunteering with the Cumberland County chapter at the age of 14. Three years later, she is an active and beneficial player on the Red Cross team. Angela has adopted many pets, and plans to devote her time and her pets to participate in Animal Assisted Therapy. She has been CPR and AED certified through the CCARC, and finds her first aid training beneficial when she attends to dislocations and concussions as an althetic trainer. Angela is a busy young woman. She commits her time to helping her community as a Red Cross volunteer, and she is active in Student Council, Key Club, and Future Farmers of America. Angela's favorite school subjects include science and math, and soon Angela plans to attend college for a degree in veterinary science.
