With your ongoing support we will keep Cumberland County strong, through these vital programs--Disaster Relief Services, Domestic Preparedness, Critical Lifesaving Services, and 24-hour Military Assistance and Communications.
But the Red Cross is not a government agency, we must rely on the generosity of the American public. With your ongoing support, we will continue to be there providing people of our communities with relief for today and hope for tomorrow.

Planned Gift Giving:
What is the secret to making a gift that will provide the greatest meaning to you and the American Red Cross? Part of the answer lies in careful planning and good organization. The best plans are created by first, deciding what your goals are and second, determining how to accomplish your goals.
Gift plans create opportunities for both the American Red Cross and our donors. Determining what gift is right for you is just as important as making the gift. There are many options from which you can choose. The correct plan for you balances what you wish to accomplish for yourself, your family, and your charitable interests in your overall estate and financial plans.

Donate by Raising Fund for your local chapter:
You can help Cumberland County Red Cross raise funds by participating in one of the yearly special events as a sponsor or by holding an event to benefit the American Red Cross such as "Dress Down for Disaster Relief Day" at work, etc. The Red Cross office has buttons available if you would like to hold a "Dress Down" day.
Before engaging in any fundraising activity on behalf of the Red Cross, you must receive written authorization to do so in the form of a fundraising agreement signed by a representative of the American Red Cross.
If your proposal fits our fundraising strategy, you will be contacted by the development coordinate who will assist in the creation of a legal agreement between the Red Cross and yourself and/or your company. You will be authorized to conduct your fundraising activity once the agreement is finalized. If it is determined that your proposal does not fit our fundraising and marketing strategy, you and/or your company will be unable to use the Red Cross name and logo for any and all collection, solicitation, or marketing purposes..
