Community Services & Programs

The Cumberland County American Red Cross offers several different services and programs in your community. These services are designated to protecting and educating while others allow for you to reach out and assist another member of your community.  Here is a quick guide to these various community services and programs.

Lifeline: Family caregivers can obtain information to assist with the care of their loved ones who are residing alone or have a medical condition through a personal emergency response system known as Lifeline.

Animal Assisted Therapy: The Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) Program promotes the interactions of pets and residents with guidance from the volunteer.  This is an opportunity to serve your community, and to give your time and talents for a great humanitarian effort.

Youth Programs: Youth programs are educational programs that will teach the children in our communities the basic information on being prepared for disasters, how to give basic first aid and focus on safe behavior in the water.
